Aisling.is is the website you’re currently perusing, I assume.

It’s kind of like a blog, but closer to what the cool kids are calling a digital garden.

Mostly it means I’ve ditched dating things. It’s kind of like breaking free of the timeline? Blogs gave us the concept of the reverse chronological content order, which became social media timelines.

But maybe it doesn’t matter if an article was written this morning or in 2022. Maybe in our quest to always have the most current information, we’re missing out on the older bits of wisdom that came before.

Just a girl & her blog

I was raised by the Internet. I poured my stream of consciousness into it at many vulnerable times in my life. At the time it felt like authenticity, but now I wonder if I gave too much.

Everything here will be shared intentionally. It doesn’t mean the emotion won’t be real, it just means it won’t necessarily reflect my current state of mind!

What I post here will be ideas that I’ve polished up a bit and want to keep learning about.
